STUB
From the Encyclopedia of Things Not Important Enough
STUB (also $STUB) is a Solana token about the 880 articles deleted from Wikipedia in the last seven days for failing to be important enough.[1] English Wikipedia deletes roughly 125 articles a day under notability, promotion, and no-context criteria — about one every 11 minutes.[2] Each of them was, at some point, someone's project.
The token has no utility, no staking, no roadmap, and no team allocation. It is a memecoin on pump.fun and it can go to zero. What it has instead is a live record of everything being deleted for unimportance while you read this page.
Background
Wikipedia requires a subject to be notable: covered in reliable sources independent of itself.[3] A page that fails this is deleted, sometimes after a week-long discussion, sometimes in minutes under speedy criteria — A7 for no indication of importance, G11 for promotion, A1 for no context.
The criteria are reasonable. An encyclopedia that kept every garage band would be useless. But the deletion log reads like a daily list of people who tried something and were told it did not count. That list is public, anonymous, and it never stops.

Gone while you were here: counting…
Supply
| Total supply | 1,000,000,000 |
|---|---|
| Minted | Not yet launched |
| Mint authority | To be revoked at launch, verifiable on Solscan |
| Team / dev allocation | None |
| Presale | None |
| Locked liquidity | pump.fun standard bonding curve |
| Creator address | Published here the moment the mint exists |
There is nothing else. No vesting schedule to explain, no treasury to audit, no partnership to announce. A stub article has one paragraph, and so does this section.
Errata
Mistakes made on this site, with dates, kept permanently. A project that never publishes its errors is either perfect or lying.

Arguments against this token, raised and answered by the dev
Is this a good investment?
No. It is a memecoin. Most memecoins go to zero and this one probably will too. If you cannot afford to lose what you put in, do not put it in. — Dev (talk) 04:12, 28 September 2026 (UTC)
Are you going to build an ecosystem?
No. There is a website and a coin. If I later build something, it will be because I wanted to, not because I promised it here. — Dev (talk) 04:31, 28 September 2026 (UTC)
Is this affiliated with Wikipedia or the Wikimedia Foundation?
No, and they have not endorsed it. The design borrows Wikipedia’s visual language, which is published under CC BY-SA 4.0 and attributed in the colophon below. The deletion data comes from the public API. Nothing here is theirs. — Dev (talk) 09:47, 28 September 2026 (UTC)
Who are you? Why no real name?
Dev. One person, no team, no fund. I have no coverage in reliable sources, which is exactly what Wikipedia means by not notable — so I am on the same list as everything in the archive. What you can verify is the code, the log, and the chain. A name would not make any of those more true. — Dev (talk) 10:26, 28 September 2026 (UTC)
Should I connect my wallet to this site?
There is no wallet connect on this page and there never will be. Buy on pump.fun if you buy at all. Never type a recovery phrase into any website. Not even this one. — Dev (talk) 11:08, 28 September 2026 (UTC)
